Bwwwaaaa haaa haaa!!

We had so much fun carving pumpkins this year. My little guy absolutely loved it. So much so that we've had to go out and light the candles in them each evening before bedtime so that he can jump around and enjoy them.

His is the little one in the middle, named "Happy Evil", his daddy's is "Happy" on the right and mine is "Saucy Evil Genius" to the left. ;-)

Will be taking my wee Captain Jack Sparrow out trick or treating in the evening after his party at preschool. (Sorry, Johnny Depp, I love you, but you got nothin' on my Capt'n for cuteness!) Let's hope for a mild evening for all the kidlets.

Now, for those of you who enjoy a little atmospheric music to go with your smoky green grog, here is a cover by The Strangelings of Donovan's 1966 classic, Season of the Witch. Love the avian imagery in this version.

Wishing you all spooky goodness on Halloween. Bwwwaaahhhaaahhaaa...

Gorgeous pumpkins, especially that little "Happy Evil", who seems to be glowing brighter than the others! Have a wonderfully spooky Halloween!!!

Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Halloween Ladies! (the little pumpkin IS glowing brighter - it has the real candle in it while the big one have the battery-operated) That, or he is just brighter than us!

I love good old fashioned carved pumpkins. I can see why your little guy has enjoyed them so much as I can't help but light them up and stare as well (although I don't do a happy dance, I'll leave just for the little ones)

Marguerite, It's amazing how much we enjoyed just going out and staring at them when they were lit. Funny things that amuse us. :)

Grace, We had a blast! Our little capt'n charmed the neighbourhood and came home with his little plastic pumpkin full of treats, much to his amazement and delight. I have fallen in love with Halloween all over again. :)
